I am not sure how old you are, but Testosterone replacement therapy was a lifesaver for me (it is for older men). As for nootropics, there is a another prescription drug called modafinil, or brand name Provigil, and that works really well. It does not make you fly like Adderall (that is a more difficult prescription to get, and frankly dangerous), but I have used it to adjust to a new schedule (up at 4:45am), and it worked. I have used it before like this. I only take it on work days, and only for a week or two until my sleep adjusts. Furthermore, it does not have that “happy” feeling that makes Adderall or Dexedrine so dangerously addictive.
